Mr. Craig Muzilla serves as Senior Vice President of Application Platforms Business of Red Hat Inc and served as its Vice President of Middleware Business. Mr. Muzilla is responsible for the overall middleware and JBoss product business at Red Hat. He served as a Senior Vice President of Marketing of MetaMatrix, Inc., where he was responsible for driving corporate and product strategy and driving the overall marketing, product marketing and product management functions. Mr. Muzilla has over 20 years experience leading strategy, marketing, product management and business development functions for high profile enterprise software companies. He has extensive experience with application integration and data integration technologies. Prior to MetaMatrix, Mr. Muzilla served as a Vice President of Strategy and Marketing at Avaki Corporation (now Sybase). At Avaki, he developed a product and market strategy that resulted in the successful acquisition of Avaki by Sybase Corporation. Prior to Avaki, He served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at OpenPages. Mr. Muzilla also served as Vice President of Marketing at Bowstreet (now IBM). He has also held various senior product marketing and product management positions for the enterprise software units of Samsung and Eastman Kodak and for Lotus Development Corporation. Mr. Muzilla holds an MBA with honors from Boston University and a BA from Ohio State University.
