Mr. Paul Sacco has been Chief Development Officer of Upscale Brands & Corporate Development at Red Lion Hotels Corporation since September 18, 2017 and its SVP. Mr. Sacco leads the franchising efforts and corporate growth of the Red Lion Hotels Corporation's upscale brands. He focuses on driving further footprint advancement of the burgeoning Hotel RL brand, as well as Red Lion Hotels, Red Lion Inn & Suites, Signature Inn, Lexington and Settle Inn. Mr. Sacco served as the Chief Development Officer at TPG Hospitality, Inc. from August 2013 to September 14, 2017 and also served as its President from 2016 to September 14, 2017. Mr. Sacco joins TPG following tenured successful careers at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Pyramid Hotel Group. At Starwood, he led North America Development with an aggressive expansion strategy for each of the hotel group's nine brands in all segments. Over nearly a decade span during which he progressed from Vice President of Development, East to Senior Vice President of Development, North America, he proved a key player in driving Starwood's growth by 143% from 228 to 554 hotels, as well as in launching the groundbreaking brands Aloft Hotels and Element by Westin. At Pyramid, he served as Senior Vice President of Development and Acquisitions for the firm, leading hotel growth activity nationally. Previously, he worked in various leadership positions in global sales, operations and development for companies such as Swissotel, US Franchise Systems and Omni Hotels. Mr. Sacco holds Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from Brown University.
