There is high turnover. If people were treated fairly, didn't have to work long hours, and could work in a more friendly atmosphere Renown would probably retain more people.
Upper management has no idea what they are doing. People in regular positions are generally underpaid and understaffed. Many of the workers are bullies and this is a difficult environment to work in. Upper management makes an obscene amount of money for being a non-profit organization.
I would feel better about my compensation if my coworkers and I were paid similar rates to other hospitals in Reno. There are some employees on food stamps because they get paid so little. Senior leaders make so much money that they could give every employee $1 an hour raise and still make 6 figures
