Mr. Josu Jon Imaz San Miguel has been the Chief Executive Officer of Repsol, S.A., since April 30, 2014 and its Executive Director since April 30, 2014. Mr. Imaz San Miguel served as the President of Petroleos del Norte, S.A. He served as an Executive Director of Industrial & New Energy Unit at Repsol, S.A. He served as Manager of the Composites and Polymers Unit of INASMET from 1987 to 1989. He worked for the Mondrag??n Group from 1989 to 1991 as an Industrial Developer. He served as Manager of the Marketing and External Relations Department of INASMET from 1991 to 1994. Mr. Imaz San Miguel is a trained Chemist with formal training in business management, was the Basque minister for industry from 1999 to 2004. In December 1986, he was sent by the INASMET Technology Centre to the French CETIM Centre in Nantes, having received a grant from the Ministry of Industry and Energy as part of their overseas training programme for researchers. In January 2004, he was elected Chairman of the Executive Committee of EAJ-PNV. He has been Chairman of Repsol Oil & Gas Canada Inc. since 2015. He served as Chairman of Petroleos del Norte, S.A. since June 2008. He has been First Deputy Chairman at Gas Natural SDG, S.A. since September 2016. He served as Chairman of the Basque Nationalist Party (PNV). As a Regional Minister of Industry, he served as President of the Basque Energy Entity (EVE), President of the Society for Industrial Promotion and Reconversion (SPRI) and spokesman for the Basque Regional Government. He serves as a Director of Wellspring Calgary, Palisade Capital Management Ltd. and Live Out There Inc. He received the End of Degree Extraordinary Prize. He specialized in Polymers. He received training in Business Management in 1989-90, as part of the General Management Training Plan of the Mondrag??n Corporation. Mr. Imaz San Miguel received Doctorate in Chemical Sciences from the University of the Basque Country. He graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Sciences in San Sebasti??n. He completed his doctorate thesis at the Higher Institute of Industrial Engineering in Bilbao in 1994.
