Cares deeply about growth and making things better
I love the executive team's transparency
Somewhat approachable, but in pursuit of metrics human factor is pushed aside.
Commitment to changing based on the marketplace
The majority of current leadership team understand that investing in people is almost never money wasted. The biggest opportunity is with the immediate reports of the LT who sometimes take short cuts and make poor decisions in pursuit of their goals to become LT.
I do not know them personally. They lack restaurant industry experience which results in what appear to be random decisions that don’t drive the (over 200?) company KPI
Salary is high, bonus is decent
In the past our comp used to be a mix of low base and high bonus variable however in recent years we've raised base to be closer in line with the market while maintaining a relatively high bonus variable.
Incentive compensation (MBO) scheme is clear
Variable compensation, stock options, low cost of living in Miami

Hungry, humble, hard working folks
They are MBA graduates and are very book smart but lack basic business experience and ethics.
Higher performance culture with mostly competent people

Back when I interviewed, it seemed the goal of the interviewer was to create stressful environments and see if I could still make rational decisions. Our interview process has come a long way since then and the instructions for interviewers reflect our goal to create a more empathetic work place.
Greater organization, more interviews to test a broader range of subjects
Taking on big projects relative to my experience
The ownership we have over the projects we working on. The biggest benefit of our lean organization is that no one has the time or desire to micro-manage their reports. You're quickly given the chance to earn the trust of your supervisor and deliver in and above scope with little over sight.
Engaging in big projects with high caliber teams
