Abhay Joshi Ph.D., M.B.A. — Chief Operating Officer at Revance Therapeutics

Dr. Abhay Joshi, Ph.D., M.B.A., has been the Chief Operating Officer of Revance Therapeutics, Inc. since December 14, 2015. Dr. Joshi served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Alvine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since March 2007. He served as the Chief Technical Officer and Executive Vice President of Cotherix, Inc., (now Actelion Ltd.) since April 11, 2006. He has over eighteen years of global manufacturing operations and product and process development experience in biologics, pharmaceutical and medical device industries in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia. He served as the Vice President of Global Technical Operations and Specialty Pharmaceuticals at Allergan, Inc. He serves as a Director of Genyous Biomed International, Inc. He holds an adjunct faculty appointment at the University of Southern California School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and is a Member of the Industrial Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers. He served as a Director of Alvine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since March 2007. Dr. Joshi received his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He also earned an MSE and a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and received an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
