Mr. Robert V. LaPenta, also known as Bob, serves as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer at Lumificient Corporation Limited. Mr. LaPenta is the Founder of Aston Capital, LLC and serves as its Partner, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. Mr. LaPenta serves as the Chief Executive Officer at L-1 Investment Partners, LLC. Mr. LaPenta founded L-1 Investment Partners, LLC in June 2005. Since August 2011, Mr. LaPenta has served as a Partner of Aston Capital. He is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at The Radiant Group. Mr. LaPenta served as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of L-1 Identity Solutions at SecuriMetrics, Inc. From April 2007 through July 2011, Mr. LaPenta assisted L-1 senior management in identifying acquisition candidates and investments while assisting in due diligence, structuring, valuation, execution and related financing. Mr. LaPenta has been the Chairman of Revolution Lighting Technologies, Inc. since September 25, 2012, Chief Executive Officer since January 29, 2013 and as its President since July 10, 2015. He co-founded L-3 Communications in 1997. Following a 24 years Executive career at Lockheed Martin Tactical Systems, Inc., he orchestrated the purchase of 10 business units from Lockheed Martin to form L-3 Communications in 1997. Mr. LaPenta served as the President and Chief Financial Officer of L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. from April 1997 to April 1, 2005 and from April 1997 to March 2005 respectively. Mr. LaPenta served as Managing Director, Co-Head of Equity Trading at Banc of America Securities where he managed all capital commitment, proprietary trading and risk management within cash trading. Prior to Banc of America Securities, he served as Director or Vice President of Equity Trading with Credit Suisse First Boston, PaineWebber, Inc., and Salomon Smith Barney, Inc. Previously, as Senior Associate at Coopers & Lybrand, Mr. LaPenta assisted with auditing, consulting, due diligence and SEC reporting. He served as Senior Vice President and Controller of Lockheed Martin Tactical Systems, Inc. He served as the President and Chief Financial Officer of L-3 Communications. He served as the President and Chief Financial Officer of L-3 Communications Corporation from April 1997 to October 16, 2002. Mr. LaPenta Founded the Homeland Security Business. In April 2005, he left L-3 Commutations to launch L-1 Investment Partners. He served as Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Strategy for L-1 Identity Solutions, Inc. Prior to L-1, Mr. LaPenta spent 13 years as an institutional equity trader focused on healthcare sector trading for both customer and proprietary accounts. While at Lockheed Martin and Lockheed Martin Tactical Systems, Inc., Mr. LaPenta served as the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Vice President at the C4ISR Group of Lockheed Martin from 1996 to April 1997, where he led the Command, Control, Computer, Communication, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance business sector with over $8 billion in annual revenue. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of MorphoTrust USA, Inc. since August 29, 2006. From April 1996 to April 1997, he served as a Vice President at Lockheed Martin and as a Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer at Lockheed Martin's C3I and Systems Integration Sector. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Lockheed Martin Tactical Systems, Inc. He served as Senior Vice President and Controller at Lockheed Martin Tactical Systems, Inc. since 1981. He joined Lockheed Martin Tactical Systems, Inc. in 1972 and served as a Vice President and Controller of its largest division from 1974. He served as the Corporate Controller at Lockheed Martin Tactical Systems, Inc. since 1978 and its Vice President since 1979. He serves as the Chairman of L-1 Investment Partners, LLC. He has been a Director of TherapeuticsMD, Inc. since February 28, 2012.
