Mr. Miller served as the Vice President of Pharmacy Operations of Rite Aid Corp. from June 2007 to October 2009. Mr. Miller began his chain drug career in 1977 as a pharmacy intern with Thrift Drug, promoted into various district management positions with increasing responsibilities until it was acquired by Eckerd Drug Company in 1997. During his seven-year tenure with Eckerd Drug company, Mr. Miller served as district operations manager, pharmacy operations manager and pharmacy services manager before being named Vice President, Pharmacy Operations in 2001. Eckerd Drug company was acquired by the Jean Coutu Group in 2004 and Mr. Miller was named Vice President, Pharmacy Operations of Brooks Eckerd Pharmacy. Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Duquesne University.
