Ms. Tammy Royer serves as a Senior Vice President of Pharmacy Operations of Rite Aid Corporation and served as its Group Vice President of Managed Care since September 3, 2013. Ms. Royer oversee all aspects of managed care, including contracting, maintaining relationships with managed care organizations, pharmacy benefit managers and third-party payers and developing new strategic partnerships. Ms. Royer, a licensed pharmacist, joined Rite Aid in 1996 as a pharmacist. She has held a variety of positions with increasing responsibilities in the company's pharmacy division, in both the field and corporate office, including pharmacy operations, pharmacy technology and pharmacy loss prevention. In 2009, she was appointed to a newly created d position of Vice President of Script Growth Initiatives where she successfully developed and executed initiatives designed to grow Rite Aid's pharmacy business. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Pharmacy Initiatives and Clinical Services, where she was responsible for the development, implementation and management of new pharmacy business and clinical programs including immunization, medication therapy management and medication adherence. Ms. Royer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh.
