ROBLOX FAQs

If you are having technical issues on Roblox, sometimes it may be helpful to uninstall Roblox before reinstalling it. This article will guide you through the process of uninstalling.

Windows Instructions

Uninstall the Program

Windows 7

Go to Start menu > Control Panel > Programs and Features

Scroll down until you see Roblox

Uninstall the program there

Windows 8 or 8.1

Pull up the tiled start screen by clicking in the lower left corner of your screen

Type "Programs and features" and click the Programs and Features icon that appearsto the right in your search results

In the window that pops up, scroll down until you see Roblox

Uninstall the program there

Windows 10

Click the start button or the Cortana search box in the lower left of the screen

Alternatively, you can hold the Windows key on your keyboard followed by hitting the S key

In the search box, type "Programs and features" and click the Programs and Features icon that appears at the top of your search list

In the window that pops up, scroll down until you see Roblox

Uninstall the program there

Delete the Roblox folder

If you are having a particularly persistent problem, it may be helpful to fully remove the Roblox folder after uninstalling to make sure there are not any corrupted or outdatedfiles left over. You can do this by following the steps below:

Right click on the start button and clickExploreor File Explorer

Navigate to this folder : C:\Users\(Your Windows Username)\AppData\Local

Delete the Roblox folder

Note: This should not delete any places that you may have saved in Studio unless you have manually chosen to save them in this folder.

Difficulty Uninstalling

If you are having difficulty uninstalling the program, try the following:

Clear your Temporary Internet Files

An important step in any uninstall or reinstall process is to clear your browser's temporary internet files. This will help with any corruption issues that might have arisen. For assistance with this process, please click here andsee the Clear Your Temporary Internet Files and Cookiessection.

Check Your Firewall

A lot of antivirus or internet security software tries to control which programs can access the internet. Often, these programs err on the side of caution and by default, no program is allowed access. For assistance with looking into this and allowing Roblox through any blockages, click here.

Reinstall Roblox

The next possibility is toReinstall. This may seem counter-intuitive but if the problem is a corrupted file from a previously unsuccessful uninstall attempt, this will overwrite the copy of the program on your computer, and replace any deleted or broken files. You should then be able to go into your Start menu and uninstall the program. For assistance with reinstalling, please click here.

MacInstructions

Completely Close Out of the Roblox Program

Press the Command + Option + Esc keys to open a task management prompt

Make sure you do not see Roblox or Roblox Studio in it

If either program is listed, please select Roblox or Roblox Studio and click Force Quit

Go to Finder > Applications

Drag the Roblox icon into the trash

The icon in finder contains all of the Roblox files that have been installed

How to delete files from the Trash

Click on the Trash icon in the Dock and choose Empty Trash.

Or, empty the trash by pressing three keys consecutively: Command + Shift + Delete.

You should see a warning: "Are you sure you want to delete the items in your Trash" because youcan'tundo this action, but assuming you do want to delete, once you click Empty Trash you should be free of them.

To bypass the "Are you sure you want to permanently erase the items in the Trash?" message, press:

Command + Option/Alt + Shift + Delete

The Roblox Catalog isavailableon the Roblox Mobile App and can be accessed through the Navigation bar located at the bottom of the screen.

Searching the Catalog

Tablets

Tap the Catalog button located at the bottom of the screen

From here you can navigate the catalog just as you would on a desktop/laptop. For assistance with this, please click here

Phones

Tap the More "..." button at the bottom right corner of the screen

Tap Catalog

Select the category you want to search (Collectibles, Clothing, Gear, etc.)

Scroll though the options. Once at the bottom, more will load automatically

Note: You can enter a keyword (ninja, pirate, etc.) in the Search bar to look for more specific items

Purchasing Items

Once you've made your selection, the Item page will display more information such as the name, description, and genre (if applicable). From here, you can make your purchase.

Phones

Find the item you'd like to purchase in the Catalog

Tap the green Buy button.

You will be taken to a confirmation screen. Tap Buy Now, then Continue Shopping.

Note: The price listed beneath the image for a Limitedor Limited-U item will be the lowest priceit is currently being sold at.

Gear is any number of Roblox createditems that can be used in-gamesuch as a weapon or mode of transportation. For more information on gear, including how to tell what types are allowed in a game, please clic k here.

Using gears

When a game loads, it will automatically use gear you own of the allowed gear-types to fill the inventory bar at the bottom of the screen. Each of the ten inventory slots will list a hotkey in its upper-left corner indicating what number will need to be pressed on your keyboardto equip the item for use. Basic gear functions can be activated by clicking with your left mouse button, though some gear may have special functions that can generally be found in the description on the item'sdetailspage.

Adjusting gear hotkeys

To adjust which gears are assigned to specific hotkeys or to use other allowed items that weren't automatically added to the inventory bar, click on the backpack icon located in the upper-left corner of the screen:

What is Virtual Gear?

This will open up your backpack and allow you to rearrange your inventory. You can do this by clicking on an item and dragging it to a new position. To exit this mode, click the backpack icon again.

Additional Help

Our Find Friends feature allows you to import your contacts from a mobile device and add them as friends on Roblox if they have a Roblox account. It also allows you to invite friends to join Roblox if they do not already have an account.

Note:No user on Roblox will be able to see your phone number. Roblox does not share your phone number or contacts with any third parties.

Must have a mobile device with Android OS 7.0 or newer, or iOS 9.0 or newer. If your device OS is older, we encourage you to upgrade it to use this cool new feature.

Add Friends

Navigate to the friends list page on the Roblox mobile app. (For more information, please see our Android or iOS help articles)

Tap theFind Friends button

If a permissions dialog appears, grant Roblox permission to access your contacts so we can find your friends

If a contact has linked their phone number to their Roblox account, tap theAdd button next to their name to send a friend request

Invite Friends

Navigate to the friends list page on the Roblox mobile app. (For more information, please see our Android or iOS help articles)

Tap theFind Friends button

If a permissions dialog appears, grant Roblox permission to access your contacts so we can find your friends

If a contact has not linked their phone number to their Roblox account, tap theInvite button to customize an SMS message inviting them to sign up on Roblox

You can also filter your imported contacts list by searching for their first or last name.

How to change your language

Log into your account(If you can't log in, try these steps for recovering your password.)

Go to accountSettings

Browser - find the gear-icon located at the upper-right corner of the site

Mobile Apps - find the three dots icon forMore

Select theAccount Infotab

Under thePersonal section, you will see the current language setting recovering your password

Select the down arrow on the right and find your language.

The page will reload with the newly selected language displayed.

If the page doesn't reload, click theSave button in the lower right corner of thePersonal section.

If your language isn't currently displayed in the options, check back another time to see if it's supported.

How to change your country

Log into your account(If you can't log in, try these steps for.)

Go to accountSettings

Select theAccount Infotab

Under thePersonal section, you will see the current country setting

Select the down arrow on the right and find your country.

To take an in-game screenshot

Click on the Menu button, located on the upper-left corner

How to Record Videos and Post Them to YouTube

Click the Record tab in the menu that opens

Click the Take Screenshot button

Alternatively, you can skip the first two steps and press the PrntScn (PrintScreen) key on your keyboard.

If doing this for the first time, a pop-up window will appear, informing you that you've taken a screenshot and where to find it. At the lower right, is the option to never have that message displayed again.

To take a screenshot of your entire screen/the website

For Windows

Set up your shot and press these keys: PrntScn (PrintScreen). This is usually located at the very top of the keyboard, sometimes in very small print. On some systems it may be necessary to hold down the Ctrl key when pressing PrntScn.

Paste the picture into a picture program like MS Paint or paint.net by using Ctrl + V or right clicking and selecting Paste to a new file.

For Macs

There are several keyboard combinationsavailablewhen taking a screenshot. The following are two of the more common methods.

Press command-shift-3: Takes a screenshot of the entire screen.

Press command-shift-4: Lets you select a part of the screen.

Android

The steps for taking a screenshot can vary depending on the device and Android version. To find these steps, please do a Google search for your specific device.

As the group owner, you can attach an image (also called an emblem)to a group, by following these steps:

Click Groups in the navigation bar on the left of the screen

Find the group in question and click on it

Click the Group Admin button, located to the top right of the page

Click Group Info on the left

Click Choose Fileand locate and select the image you want to use

Once an image is selected, click Open

Then click the greenSave button

Must meet Roblox Community Rules.

File type should be jpg or png.

Max size image size is 256 x 256.You can upload larger, but the image will be rescaled to 256 x 256.

If the image is not square, it will be padded so that it becomes a square

You can use thumbnail and icon features to help your places/games get noticed and stand out.

What are thumbnails?

Thumbnails are images used to represent your game on its details page andcan be used to help it stand out while also showing new players what they can expect when they click Play. Games can have up to 10 thumbnails. Each of these can be an image or a video. A default thumbnail will be added when the game is published, but you may update it later if you would like.

How do you add new thumbnails or videos?

Your first thumbnail isa default image that will be automatically added. You are able toadd new customthumbnailsfor free or YouTube videos for 500 Robux. To do this, pleasefollow these steps:

Create the image or video using your image or video editor of choice.

If you are creating a video, upload it to your YouTube account.

Click Create located in the blue bar at the top of the screen.

Find the place that you would like to add the gallery item to and click the gear to its right.

Click Configure Start Place.

In the left column of the page that displays, click Thumbnails.

Choose if you would like to use an Image, Video, or the Auto generated Image on the right of the screen.

If you are uploading an image, click Choose File, find and select your image file, press Open, and then press the blue Upload Image button. You will then see a pop up box confirming that you want to purchase the thumbnail. Press the green Buy Now button to complete the transaction.

If you are linking a YouTube video, enter the URL into the box and click the blue Add Video button.You will then see a pop up box confirming that you want to purchase the video thumbnail. Press the green Buy Now button to complete the transaction.

If you would like to use the Auto generated Image, this option is free and you will see a preview when selecting this option. Press the blue Set Thumbnail button to select this image.

Note: Images and Videos must meet Roblox Community Rules. The image or video will be temporarily unavailable while the uploaded image/video is waiting approval by our moderators.If a Thumbnail is deleted or rejected do to a violation of these rules, the Robux spent are non-refundable.

What restrictions are placed on videos (length, content..etc)?

Videos can be up to 30 seconds long. If your video is longer than that, you will receive an error message and it will not upload. For a full list of other videorestrictions and acknowledgments, please click here.

What are game icons and how do you make them?

Icons are square images that represent a game in places other thanits details page. This includes areas likethe Games page, your profile page, favorites lists...etc. By default, a game's icon will be a cropped version of the game's standard thumbnail we mentioned in the section above. That said, you can create your own with yourimage editor of choiceand upload it free of charge. For assistance with this process as well as some tips on how to create a compelling icon, please click here.

Thumbnails And Videos

Sometimes you may find that you want to start a new game but would like to edit a previously existing game to save yourself some time. You may also just wish to copy one of your games to another account. The following steps will help you do these things.

How to Copy Your Own Game

Run Roblox Studio

Log into your account within Studio

Click on My Games

Find the game you want to copy, click it and then click Edit on the bottom of the screen

Once you are editing the game you can copy two ways:

If you would just like a backup saved to your computer, choose File > Save As

If you would like to upload a copy of the game to Roblox, choose File > Publishto Roblox As,and upload over an existing game or create a new one

Note: To copy the game to one of your other accounts, choose the Save As method of step 5. Once the game is saved, log out of Studio and then log back in as your new account. You can then use Publish to Roblox as to upload to that account.

How to Use Someone Else'sCopying Allowed Game as a Template

You may see a game that you think would work as a good starting point for your own game. The good news is that some builders encourage you to use their games for this purpose! However, a game can only be copied if the notice "This game's source can be copied" is listed on the game's About tab. Please see our help article about how to allow or disallow copying of your game for further details.

If the game is allowed to be copied, then the following steps will help you use it as a starting point for your own game:

Go to the game'sdetails page

Click on the icon that looks like three dots to the upper-right of its title

Click Edit in the menu that pops up

This will open the game in Studio where you can do one of two things:

Choose File > Save As, and save the game to your computer. You can then edit the game to your liking.

Choose File > Publish to Roblox As and then either upload over an existing game or create a new one.

Note: Before deciding to publish a copied game, be sure to first ask permission from the creator. If the player's game is not allowed to be copied, and you want to make your own version, be sure to ask the creator for permission first. It's polite.

Program overview

Roblox Video Stars is a program for top Roblox video content creators. Roblox provides Video Stars with benefits and tools to better engage with their fans and build their businesses. Check out the Roblox Video Stars grouphere.

Program requirements and content

All video content must also be in accordance with the Roblox Terms of Use and Roblox Community Rules. Video creators are invited to participate in the program based on video viewership and audience engagement and must meet the following minimum criteria.

10,000,000 cumulative Roblox video views

25,000 average views per Roblox video

100,000 followers/subscribers on channel

The program is only available for content creators who create videos in the following languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German.

The program is evolving and these criteria are subject to change.

Other players can create Packages or Decals that look like official Roblox items, for use in decorating games. To tell the difference before buying, you can see whatits item type is underneathits title on the item details page.

I bought something from a game

Roblox enables anyone to imagine and create immersive 3D games. You can buy perks and virtualitems directly from these game developers for Robux. Game passes are sold on the game's Store page, and all other virtual items are sold inside the game.Pricing and quality are determined and maintained by the Developer and not by Roblox. Try contacting the game's developer through private messages or their groups.

You may find that developing one game just isn't enough to satisfy your craving for creativity. Luckily, we can help! All users are able to build as many games as they want, though accounts are limited to 200 public games (able to be played by others) at any given time.

To Make a Game Public or Private:

There are two methods of making a game public or private.

Note: Making your game private willshut down any running games and cancel all VIP subscriptions.

Method one:

Click Create in the blue bar at the top of the website

In the My Creations tab, click Games if it isn't already highlighted

Find the place you would like to make public/private and click the grey or green icon underneath the place's title to switch between the two statuses

Public (green icon)will allow any user to view and play the game Create

Private (grey icon)will prevent anyone other than you from being able to view or play the game, unless it's a group game, in which case only you and appointed developers (with the necessary rank with game edit permissions) will be able to play the game. Method two:

Navigate to your game's page

Click the three dots icon to pull up the game's settings menu

SelectConfigure this Place orConfigure this Game

Regardless of which you select in the above step, on the screen that appears, navigate to theBasic Settings tab if it isn't already highlighted

UnderPrivacy, select eitherPublic orPrivate

Public will allow any user to view and play the game

Private will prevent anyone other than you from being able to view or play the game, unless it's a group game, in which case only you and appointed developers (with the necessary rank with game edit permissions) will be able to play the game. For more information, please see the help article about Group Games.

To Create a New Game:

Click in the blue bar at the top of the website

In the My Creations tab click Games if it isn't already highlighted

Click Create New Game

Choose the settings and templates for your new creation

Click Create Game

This will take you back to theCreate page you were at previously. You can go ahead and make the game public now, if you would like, or you can wait until you have done some work on it. To start building, click the Edit button to the right of your new game's entry in your Games list.

Note:You can create a new game at any time, but it cannot be enjoyed by other Roblox players until it is made public using the "Make Game Public" process.

Operating system requirements

PC/Windows: Roblox will install on Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, or Windows 10. For Windows 8/8.1 you will need to run Roblox in Desktop Mode, as Metro Mode (the tiled start-screen)is not currently supported.

Mac: Roblox Client will install on 10.7 (Lion) and higher - and Intel only Macs whereas the Roblox Studio will install on Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) and above.

Linux: Roblox is not supported on Linux.

Chrome OS:Chrome OS version 53 or above is required, and you must first enable Google Play Store on your device.

Note: Roblox video recording feature only works on Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10. Newly released operating systems or pre-released versions of operating systems may not immediately be supported.

System hardware requirements

Graphics Card: Roblox requires DirectX 9 minimum and Shader Model 2.0.For the best performance we recommend either a computer less than 5 years old with a dedicated video card, or a laptop less than 3 years old with an integrated video card.

Processor: Roblox recommends you have a recent processor (2005+) with a clock speed of 1.6 Ghz or better. There have been some issues with older AMD processors.

RAM or Memory: Roblox recommends you have at least 1 GB of memory on Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10

Storage Space: Roblox recommends you have at least 20 Mb of system storage space to install Roblox.

Internet requirements

For a single-use household, Roblox recommends a minimum4-8Mb/s internet connection. In largerhouseholds, greater bandwidth isadvisable.

How to Use

Navigate to the home page in the Mobile App

Tap theAdd Friends icon to the left of your friends list

On the page that appears, tapNearby

Nearby Roblox players who also have the Nearby page open will appear on this page

To add the player as a friend, tap their avatar on this screen. This will send a friend request to that player

The player whose avatar you chose will need to tap to accept your friend request

Once the other player has accepted your friend request you will be added to each other's friends list

Granting Access

You may need to grant the Mobile App additional permissions when using this feature for the first time, as this is necessary for the feature to work correctly.

You can grant additional permissions by doing the following:

Navigate to theNearby page

TapEnable Accesswhen prompted to give Microphone access

Removing Access

You can go to your device's privacy or app settings to turn off Microphone access for Roblox. For further assistance with this, please refer to your phone manufacturer's help documentation and support services.

I Can't Find My Friend

Make sure that you and your friend are both on theNearby page with your phones near each other so your avatars show on each other'sNearby pages.

Game Card Credit can only be used in a browser - it can't be used in the Roblox apps.

From the game card redemption page

Log into the Roblox account where you want the Credit, in a browser.

Scroll down to the purchase options on the Game Card Redemption Page. Click on the Robux or membership icon for which you'd like to purchase.

SelectRoblox Credit as the payment type and clickContinue. Game Cards - Common Questions.

ClickSubmit Order. Do not re-enter your game card PIN if you have already redeemed your game card.

If you had enough credit for the full purchase price you will see a confirmation message.

From the Membership or Robux purchase pages

Log into the Roblox account where you redeemed the game card.

Go to the membership purchase page or the Robux purchase page.

Select the product you want to purchase.

SelectRoblox Credit as the payment type and clickContinue.

ClickSubmit Order. Do not re-enter your game card PIN if you have already redeemed your game card.

If you had enough credit for the full purchase price you will see a confirmation message.

Converting Remaining Credit to Robux

If you have less than $4.99 in remaining credit after making a Robux or membership purchase, you may convert this credit into Robux. This option will only be available when you have less credit than needed to purchase a Robux package.

Login to your Roblox account

You can contact a game creator to report an issue with in-game items or passes or have a private conservation with your friend by using the messaging feature.

Sending a Message

To send a message, goto your Friends section and click on your friend's name. This will take you to their profile. Press the Message button in the box at the top of the page that contains their username and friends and followers information.

If you are not already friends with the person that you would like to communicate with, you can still send them messages as long as you and they have allowed this in their privacy settings. To find them, type their username into the search bar at the top of the screen and choosethe Search (username) in People option in the set of choices that will pop up. Click on their name in the list of search resultsand it will take you to their profile where you can click their Message button.

The Message Button Won't Let Me Click It

If the person that you are trying to message has a Message button that is not clickable, then their privacy settings might not be set up to allow private messages at this time. Additionally, you will need to make sure your privacy settings would allow them to message you back. For example, if you only allow your friends to message you and you are trying to message someone who isn't your friend, the message button would not be able to be clicked. If you would like to grant special privileges to certain members, then the RoleSet system is the way to do it! The default group roles are Owner, Admin, Member, and Guest. Custom ranks can be created by clicking the Create New button in the Roles section of your Group Admin page. For more information about this page, click here.

How to Assign Roles to Members

As long as you are the group owner or have been assigned to a role with the correct permissions by the group's owner, you can change another user's role by doing the following:

Click Groups in the navigation bar on the left of the screen

Find the group in question and click on it

Click the Group Admin button on the right of the page

Click Members

Find a user you would like to modify

Click the drop-down box under their picture

Select the role you would like to assign to that user

Note:you will only be able to change the roles of users that are currently in roles ranked lower than yours. Additionally you will only be able to promote users to roles ranked lower than yours.

Creating a New Role

If you are the group owner, you can create a brand new role for your members. Each new role will cost 25 Robux, and names cannot be used on more than one role at a time. To create a new role:

Click Groups in the navigation bar on the left of the screen

Find the group in question and click on it

Click the Group Admin button on the right of the page

Click Roles in the left column

Click the green Create New button

Fill in the role's name, description, and rank

Note: Ranks must only include the numbers 1-254. Errorsmost commonly occur when two or more ranks have the same rank number or rank name.Special characters may also cause group ranks to not update properly.

This will create the new role with the default permissions. To edit these permissions and see what each one does, see the following Editing A Role and Its Permissions section.

Note: There is a hard cap of 20 ranks for each group. This includes the "Guest Rank" automatically included for all groups.

Group owners can edit roles and their permissions from within the Roles tab of the Group Admin page. Hereyou can change the name, description, and ranking by editing the corresponding boxes. If you would like to change the role's permissions, click the Permissions button. This will display a window where you can assign special privileges. These are:

View Group Wall: View discussions on the group's wall.

View Group Status:See the group shout.

Post on Group Wall: Take place in conversations on your group's wall.

Post Group Status: Update the group shout.

Delete Group Wall Posts: Delete posts that other members have made on the group's wall.

Accept Join Requests: If the group is currently set to require manual approval, roles with this permission can accept or deny any pending requests to join the group.

Kick Lower-Ranked Members:The abilityto kick out members assigned to lower ranked roles.

Manage Lower-Ranked Member Ranks: The ability to change the roles of other members currently assigned to a lower ranked role. For more information, see the "How to Assign Roles to Members" section at the top of this article.

Manage Allies and Enemies: The ability to declare or remove group enemies and allies.

Deleting Roles

Group owners are given the ability to delete roles other than Owner and Guest. That said, the name and description of the Owner role can be edited. To delete a role, click the red Xlocated to the right of it. If there are users currently assigned to it, however, the X will be grey, and you will not be able to delete it.

TheLeaderboard

The leaderboard is a box located in the upper right corner of the game window. It is here that you will be given information about the people you are playing with. This can include the teams they are on, their current score in the game and status icons. You can even send a friend request, follow a player, block someone, or report abuse simply by clicking on a player's name. Leaderboards will look something like this:

So you may have a grasp on what exactly the leaderboards are, but may be wondering what those little icons next to people's names mean. Lets go through each one of them:

In-Game friend requests and following

While playing a game, you may find that there's another player you would like to follow or become friends with. If that's the case, there is no need to leave the game to start this process. To send a friend requestto someone, simply clickon their name in the leaderboard and select Send Friend Request. You may also choose to follow or unfollow them from this menu if you would rather.

If one of your fellow players sends you a friend request, a notification will pop up in the lower right-hand corner of your screen. You may accept or decline by clicking the corresponding button. Alternatively, you may click on their name in the leaderboard and accept or decline from there.

Blocking and reporting abuse in-game

If someone is harassing, bullying or spamming you, you can block them or report them to our moderators insideofgame as well. Please read the How to Block Another User help article and the How to Report Rule Violations help article.

In-Game Notifications

There are three types of notifications that you may see pop up to represent things that have happened in-game. These will appear in grey boxes in the lower right corner (as can be seen in the above picture)and will alert you to having earned a badge, earned player points, or that you have received a friend request from one of your fellow players. These are represented by the following images:

- A friend request will be indicated by an icon of the player'savatar

- This icon appears if you have earned a badge

- This icon indicates that you have earned player points

No. Memberships and possessions, such as Robux and items, are non-transferable. Make sureyou are logged into the correct account when buying a Membership.

If a memory error occurs when you try to play a game through the Roblox Mobile application, you may be running too many concurrent applications. To fix it, you may need to close some programs to allow the games to run properly or restart your device. If you share your iDevice with other people, be sure to check with them before closing an application or restarting.

Your place can be configured to show how chat messages are shown in-game. This allows flexible options to best let players communicate while playing your game.

Chat Modes

There are two default chat styles available within your place.

Classic

This will display chat messages within the upper-left chat window of the default game screen. These messages are listed in chronological order, newest to oldest being bottom to top. This lets players converse globally on a server with no restrictions to physical location within your game's world.

Bubble

This will display chat messages above the character heads of players who are talking. This allows conversations to be restricted to the physical locations of the players in your game's place.

Both chat modes can be enabled at the same time, if desired.

Currently, in-game name colors are assigned at random. At this time, there is not a way to manually assign this color or change it.

What is lag?

It's where a game appears to stutter or slow down, causing players to appear to be warping around the game. It is generally a sign of a slow game or connection. Below are some things to check for when trying to address the issue of lagging.

Graphics level

Check the Roblox graphics level. When in a game, hit Escape to bring up the menu. From there, you can check the graphics level of Roblox and set it to a lower level.If the Graphics Mode is currently set to 'Automatic', change it to 'Manual' and then you will be able to make any necessary adjustments. Lower graphics levels will reduce some of the image/visual quality but it also means that your computer works less to run Roblox and may result in a better game play experience until you can upgrade your hardware or have a better connection.

Check your computer's resources

If lowering the quality didn't work, check to make sure your system resources are not being used by other high-power programs. Close out of any unnecessary programs to make sure they aren't taking up system resources that Roblox may need to run properly. It is recommended that when you run Roblox, for the most optimal experience, that you close all other programs.

If your home network is not functioning at it's best, Roblox can have general lagging issues during gameplay. For this situation, please click here.

Single Month Membership

Single month memberships are sold in the Roblox Mobile App available on the Windows and Amazon app stores.

Recurring Membership

Memberships bought through the Roblox website, iTunes, and Google Play are renewing by default. You are able to cancel at any time before the renewal date. Even if you cancel the membership you will get the benefits until the expiration date.

Memberships are non-refundable. To avoid a recurring charge it's better to cancel sooner rather than later. Read more about how to cancel.

For security reasons, you may be asked to verify your transaction with our payment provider Xsolla who enables users all over the world tomake safe and secure payments.Card verification isacommon practice that helps toensure payment security.

How does the Verification Process work:

Xsolla will create a micro-transaction on your financial account (typically between $0.20 - $0.90 USD). The amount of this micro-transaction is the verification code you must enter in the form. You should enter only the numerical value of the charge, so if your code is $0.44 you should enter 0.44 in the form to verify your transaction.

Verification codes are valid for a3-hour period.

Ifyou receive multiple codes, please ensure you use the most recent one.

Ifyour code expires, anew code will begenerated and delivered toyou after you attempt tomake another payment with the same card.

What happens if I don't verify my purchase:

The purchase will be declined and you will not be charged for the attempted purchase. Groups are a way for players and their friends to form their own mini-community with other like-minded players. Groups can battle other groups, assist in building, engage in discussions, and more.

Requirements

The amount of groups a player may join is limited to 100 groups. Players may also create up to 100 groups of their own.Group creation requires a one-time payment of 100 Robux, per group.

How to make a group

If the requirements are met, creating a group is fairly simple.

Log into youraccount

Click Groups, located in the navigation panel to the left

Click the Create button, located on the left side of the page

Once on this page, fill out the Name, Description and Emblem sections. Each should reflect what the group is about. Once done, located in the Settings box on the right of the page, choose the accessibility of group entry. For the greatest amount of control, select the Manual Approval option.

Note: Group names cannot be longer than 50 characters.

Once everything has been set how you would like it, click on the Purchase button to finalize the creation of the group.

How to find and join a group

To locate a group:

Click on the Searchbar, located at the top of the page

Enter a keyword (e.g. "Ninjas" if looking for a group about ninjas)

Choose to search in groups

From there, the group search page includes information such as a brief description of the group, which is helpful in identifying groups of interest.

Once a group has been selected, go to that group's page, and click theJoin Group button. If joining the group requires manual approve, wait until the request to join is approved. Depending on the group, the owner may have specific requirements such as sending a Personal Message before a request to join the group is approved.

While word of mouth is a powerful tool on its own, Roblox offers several tools to help get you started. One of these tools is the User Ads feature.

What are user ads?

Ads are images that players upload that can be use to promote their places, clothing, models, decals, groups, etc. These will be displayed at the top and sides of Roblox.com. When the image is clicked, it will take you to the thing that is being advertised.

Advertising is a good way to bring attention to the awesome stuff that you have built or made. You may even be able to make Robux by bidding on ads for an item which other players may then purchase or visit.

Use the menu to select a wardrobe category and subcategory (if applicable).

Scroll through your inventory on the page. At the bottom of each page you can tap the right or left arrow buttons to navigate through different pages.

Click the item image you wish to view.

Once you've made your selection, the item's page will display the item as "Item Owned" with a checkmark alongside. The page also includes information such as the name, description, and genre (if applicable).

To Hide Your Inventory For Other Players

Visit your profile page

Go to the Settings pageby clicking on gear icon found in the upper right corner of your profile page

In settings, click on Privacy tab

In Privacy tab, click on Who can see my inventory?

Choose which group of users you would like to be able to see your inventory. Selecting No one will ensure that your inventory is not visible to any users.

Please note: Hiding your inventory will not affect your ability to use the Trading System.

A package is basically multiple objects grouped together, to form a single object. Packages can include anything from bricks to tools, and greatly enhance the ease of which you can manipulate a group of objects. In addition, through creating a package, you are also given the option to upload it to Roblox. This feature allows any other player to access the package through using the All Models option within the Studio Toolboxor when browsing the Library.

How To Make a Package

In order to create a package, follow these five simple steps.

Open a place in Roblox Studio.

Create the objects you would like to group together, and arrange them as you want them to be seen.

Group your package by pressing CTRL + G on your keyboard.

From the menu bar, select File, then Publish Selection to Roblox.

Complete the required information, and select Finish.

If these five steps were followed correctly, you should have successfully created a package.
