Douglas Coulter — President of RBC Global Asset Management Inc at Royal Bank Of Canada

Mr. Douglas Coulter, also known as Doug, is the President and Director of RBC Global Asset Management (UK) Limited. Mr. Coulter serves as the President at RBC Global Asset Management Inc. He is responsible for establishing firm's product line-up for individual investors and is responsible for growing the distribution of these investment solutions, which are offered to individual investors in Canada through RBC's branch network, full-service advisors, and RBC's direct-to-investor businesses. In addition to his oversight of the individual investor business, he represented firm in its dealings with a range of stakeholders including regulators and industry associations. He began his career in 1986 as an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities. Mr. Coulter then spent five years at another Canadian bank as an Investment Specialist before rejoining RBC DS in 1993. He was responsible for all North American fee-based programs, including RBC DS and RBC Dain Rauscher, before being appointed Head of Canadian Wealth Management Services in 2003. In 2005, Mr. Coulter took on the role of President and Chief Executive Officer at RBC Direct Investing. In 2009, he joined as Director of Investment Funds at Institute of Canada. In this capacity, Mr. Coulter works with other members to develop the annual priorities and objectives that guide IFIC's day-to-day operations. He received a BA in Economics from Concordia University in 1985.
