A competitive salary based on industry standards would be favorable
I have been in my current position for over 21 years. I have been told that "I am the victim of my own success" and because they do not want to promote me into another position, I have no chance for advancement or substantial pay increases.
The compensation is under current market value.

Comfortable conversations. It does take awhile but worth it
Seemingly open and honest communication and expectations for the position
They are very good at screening candidates and perform due diligence for the right job and right person.
I enjoyed getting different people's perspectives on the company
