It has been a positive environment that encourages teamwork and family. I have always loved working in adult education.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture of teamwork. I can work with other programs for teaching and learning activities.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love the hands on teaching and seeing the "ah ha" moment for students. I have seen this company change students lives and I believe we are doing good for the community.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Communication. The communication between instructors and leadership is great. I know that if I need them or concerning a student I can contact them and they will get back to be very quickly.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a person that holds a teaching cert and degree, the pay would be higher. They should compensate for extra degrees or certifications that I hold. It is not competitive with other post secondary institutions.
