It started off a bit bumpy. I was close to giving up a few times due to lack of motivation. I pushed through and im glad i did. I feel like an asset to the company now and will only grow further within this company. I graduated SJVC Bakersfield's CAMA program on 2012. Much SJVC pride!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love how they follow up with us every module to check if anything is needed from us.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The ability to comfortably be able to step into someone's office and be greeted with a helpful demeanor.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I like how we are very open to helping each other whenever there is something needed. Rarely do I ever have an issue with my coworkers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I've been with SJVC for a little over 3 years now and only get paid .40 cents more than from when I first started. Living in Bakersfield, I worked many split-shifts in Delano and Porterville for those 3 years. Im now working Bakersfield and Delano. I love my job, so I try not to complain.
What makes you most happy at work?
I have a passion for Healthcare. I love helping others. I never saw myself as an instructor, but showing others the passion and heart they must have in this field makes me happy to be apart of their growth. Their success makes me feel happy to go to work each day. Brings meaning to my life.
