Thomas S. Bruington II, P.Eng., M.Sc. — Executive Vice President of Project Evaluation at Sandstorm Gold Ltd

Mr. Thomas S. Bruington, II, also known as Tom, P.Eng., M.Sc., has been an Executive Vice President of Project Evaluation at Sandstorm Gold Ltd. since January 15, 2013. Mr. Bruington served as Executive Vice President of Project Evaluation at Sandstorm Metals & Energy Ltd. since January 2013. Mr. Bruington joined Sandstorm after more than 12 years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) where he was employed as Chief Engineer/Industry Specialist for the mining division of the oil, gas, mining and chemicals department. He was responsible for business development, technical appraisal and operational supervision of IFC's resource investments, completed more than 100 project appraisals in over 60 countries and building an equity fund to over US$250 million in value. He served Mining Engineer positions at number of resource companies and been involved in mine design, construction and operations at precious metal and base metal projects in Australia, South Africa, South America and the U.S.A. He has been an Independent Director of Tsodilo Resources Ltd. since 2013. He has been Director of Blackrock Gold Corp. since November 21, 2016. He serves as a Director of Colossus Minerals Inc. Mr. Bruington is a Registered Professional Engineer and holds a Masters of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mineral Economics as well as a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
