Thierry Bourquin ā Chief Quality Officer and Vice President at Sanofi
Executive Bio
Mr. Thierry Bourquin has been the Chief Quality Officer and Vice President at Sanofi since July 2009. Mr. Bourquin joined Sanofi (formerly, Sanofi-Synthelabo) in 2001 as Head of Industrial Quality and Compliance. In 2004, he took the lead of Global Quality Industrial Operations for Sanofi. After serving in Hospitals and at Paris University, Mr. Bourquin held several positions in Analytical Development, Quality and Manufacturing in Pharmaceutical Industry (Pfizer, Rh??ne-Poulenc Rorer and Aventis). At European level, he was expert of the European Pharmacopoeia and member of the Quality Ad Hoc group of EFPIA. In 1994, he has been elected member of the French National Academy of Pharmacy. From 2001 to 2011, Mr. Bourquin served as Chairman of the Quality Committee of LEEM. Mr. Bourquin, a pharmacist, is graduated in biology and drug product control.
