Great, I took the job a little over 5 years ago with the intention of being here a couple of years and moving on. This position allows me to maintain a great work/life balance which is extremely important for me now.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They care about the team members within the organization. They listen to us, and take action.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Collegiality, Integrity, and Ownership mindset. We work well together and with the tools in place, we can communicate easily even when we are not in the same office.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Innovations. The fact that the issues that come up each day are different, and my direct manager supports the decisions that we come up with with minimal oversight. but always available to ask questions.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel the position I hold is undervalued. There is little chance someone with 1-3 years experience could resolve the complex issues that arise on a daily basis. I have a BS in engineering technology and 20yrs of work experience with 5 yrs in this position and was ranked a p1 on global framework.
What makes you most happy at work?
Work life balance. I have two kids at home and I am active in the community. Between School, Sports, and Scouts, I am very busy after hours volunteering as a coach and a scout leader. It is great being able to be home each night for dinner and to make it to all the games and scout events.
