What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are collaborative and truly value every employee's opinion.
Transparency, approachability, effectiveness, care, and passion
We have a group of very smart folks steering the ship.
The collaborative environment they provide across the company.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Respecting the judgment of their teams.
Interaction outside of their dept. Often if I go to other dept heads I am ignored with what I need to do my job.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It's fair and rewards hard work.
The ceiling is the roof, the more work I put in, the more I can make
It's great. A 401k match would be great but it's very understandable that we don't have one given our size.
Very fair to the market
The base salary is competitive.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It doesn't seem like people are paid equally for the work they do.
Don't feel I'm heard when addressing concerns on role/compensation.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is hardworking, respectful, and fun.
We are both competitive and helpful to one another every day
Good, smart people with a mix of talents and attitudes
Everyone is friendly and willing to help each other out.
Sharing experiences with each other so we can learn from each other. We all help each other out when needed.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Collaborative, respectful, easy going, fun, and hard working.
People need to take more ownership of their work instead of blaming or pushing Work to others or other teams.
Everyone behaves exactly as they are comfortable behaving, which includes a lot of (inaccurate) judgment. Few people go beyond their comfort zone. Doesn't seem like that will change.
My team is the primary reason I work for SessionM.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
You can wear as many hats as you'd like
The culture is collaborative and accepting. People work hard but know how to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Never boring and often fascinating
It is relaxed and everyone is friendly and wants to do a good job.
The culture and environment give employees the opportunity lead their own success
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Honestly? Start over. The culture right now is a symptom of chaos, not an actual force in its own right.
Transparency. Honesty. Accountability. Some managers are in office less than 40% of the week.

What makes you most happy at work?
The people surrounding me and the collaborative environment.
Being rewarded for hard work
Working on interesting problems and knowing what I'm going to be working on day to day, although the latter doesn't always happen.
The challenge to collaborate, contribute and learn from the awesome data team
Working on projects with my team.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Feel a little stagnant at times, but not always.
There is not enough feedback and management proved to employees so the same people do all of the work and others coast by unnoticed.
