Was far happier at work as an engineer, now I gave peogressed to management i get less enjoyment at work and overall earn less for working harder

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Climbing the career ladder obly means you work longer hours (unpaid) suffer more work stress and earn less. I would not recommend promotion from a field operative level to a management level
