Chief People Officer has to start influencing against random vendetta firing and all the layoffs. The C-Suite is all from Vroom or Thomson Reuters, totally incestuous.

Respect for employees, more honesty, less fakeness
The CEO is a mediocre white male who has been promoted to his level of incompetence. He is running this company into the ground and the sychophants who report to him either have Stockholm Syndrome or outrageously high RSU grants.
Need to overhaul and start over.
They're beyond help. I'd normally say they should treat their employees as humans, but that ship has sailed. They are amoral psychopaths who have one goal--to pump the stock price using whatever means possible.
Look after contributors instead of taking the lion share. Each year they see what more they can take whilst contributors are receiving 15% from their hard work.
Leadership is totally out of touch from the everyday product owners and people making the work and the success happen. They are more often working against the broader team and creating bad working conditions. I would not trust this unethical group to be implementing Artificial Intelligence. Scary.
They need to leave. They managed to pump the stock price up in the short term on the backs of slashing contributor payouts, but the culture they instilled will result in paralysis due to fear and a chilling effect on innovation.
listen to the employees and understand what is actually happening at the company!
Simply Put...Stan Pavlovsky does not care one iota about the people who work for him including the stock contributors who provide the work SS needs. If you don't agree with him....his reply is go elsewhere.
Management needs to stop being so greedy
Respect to team and photographer
The leadership at Shutterstock is bad and that's putting it mildly. The worst are Finance, Sales, and HR. It is very unfortunate given the potential this company. All the smart and qualified employees are resigning. Constantly changing commission pay-outs, roles/titles, employment agreements, etc...

Shutterstock is a company that pretends to be a tech company, but it's internal bureaucracy, rigid structure and unwillingness to try anything makes them unable to attract or retain talent or keep up with the market.
Stay. There are so many new leaders hoping to fix x, y, & z, but end up leaving with a half completed project left at Shutterstock.
