August Daniel Schieler — Senior Vice President and General Manager of OEM Solutions at Sierra Wireless

Mr. August Daniel Schieler, also known as Dan, has been a Senior Vice President and General Manager of OEM Solutions at Sierra Wireless Inc. since October 1, 2013. Mr. Schieler served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Sierra Wireless Inc. until 2013. Mr. Schieler served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Mobile Computing business unit at Sierra Wireless Inc. since September 2010. Mr. Schieler served as the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Sierra Wireless Inc. from January 2005 to 2010. He served as Vice President of Sales, Americas and OEM for Sierra Wireless Inc. until January 2005. He is responsible for sales and distribution of Sierra Wireless products in the North America and Latin America markets as well as sales of OEM products globally. Prior to joining Sierra Wireless, Mr. Schieler served as Vice President of World Wide Sales and Marketing for AirPrime and was responsible for driving its sales strategy and managing a highly experienced international sales team focused on developing customer relationships with its OEM partners around the world. He has 15 years of sales, marketing and business development experience in the personal computing and wireless communications industries to his position at Sierra Wireless. His extensive experience as an international OEM sales and marketing leader includes positions as AirPrime's Senior Director of OEM Sales and Strategic Partnerships and Director of OEM Sales for the Central and Eastern United States. Prior to joining AirPrime, Mr. Schieler worked for Xircom's OEM division where he managed accounts with top-tier OEM computing manufacturers, including Dell. While at Xircom, He led the world wide sales team in closing new business, accounting for $180 million of the OEM business unit's world wide revenue. Mr. Schieler served as a Director at Wavecom SA since March 6, 2009.
