Work for Baltimore scrap 4 for20 years sims bought us and turned us into to a awful place to work no overtime I don't even want to come to work anymore way it's run makes me sick

I love working with most of my colleagues, but the current culture is focused on window-dressing over substance, and on profit over people.

Surprised at how immature the company's systems are, and how antiquated in thinking the senior execs are. When I say 'antiquated', I mean bigoted, misogynists, bullies, etc.

Most of the leadership team are approachable (i.e. willing to make time for a call).

The leadership team allows (and even encourages) behaviors that should result in immediate termination: racial stereotyping, gender stereotyping, LGBTQ stereotyping, etc. Take a look at the composition of the Executive Team. I'm amazed at the comments that I hear from Execs (in 2021!)

In think medical is good

The short-term incentive (i.e. bonus) plan.

Reasonably good salaries, but 'bait and switch' bonus program that sounds good but infrequently pays out.

I work with most of them for years

They are all passionate about what they are doing and really want to make a difference.

I am allowed to continue to work from home and set my own hours.

Everyone in the office needs to be gone

Change at the top. As long as Sims allows bigots and micromanagers to run the company, it will never improve. They need to realize that keeping someone for their 'experience/network' even when displaying awful behaviors is a menace to the culture.

Very in depth tour of the facility

Due to travel considerations many of my initial interviews with peers were virtual, which was nice due to flexibility, but awkward for eye contact, etc. My interview with my boss was in-person, which was key.

Getting recognition for hard work.
