Ms. Margaret A. Brown is a Partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, L.L.P. She works on a wide variety of corporate matters, concentrating on merger and acquisition transactions ' including those involving high-tech companies, insurance and other regulated industries ' and corporate financings. Ms. Brown has represented various venture capitalinvestors and start-up companies and has been underwriter's and issuer's counsel in a number of public offerings of debt and equity securities. She has also worked on a number of proxy contests and consent solicitations, as well as restructurings of publicly held debt securities. She holds a BA from Holy Cross College and JD from Boston College Law School.
