What do you like best about the leadership team?
Team player and problem dolvers
Every leader is of the same mindset as well as being highly intelligent, trustworthy, generous, and insanely capable at what they do
Great team with excellent people
I like the fact the leadership team takes into consideration the long range focast. Viewing the administration, Dow Jones, WallStreet and the Federal Reserve.
Family oriented. I live my job. Not the pay.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership needs to improve employee recognition, benefits, pay, and work/life balance.
Leadership has no vision; they need to develop a culture of empowered leaders who understand what it means to lead people. Change management policies need to be implemented more broadly, and respect for fellow employees should echo throughout the organization.
If they treated the FAs to a actuallt livable wage then the people who have been here for years ans dedicated themselves to the company would wanna stay and same for the new hires barley scraping by on 400 dollar checks.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The flight benefits, for me personally
We enjoy standard health benefits and also have access to travel benefits.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation has not risen to keep up with cost of living in the area (housing is high for the current pay)
Everything has to run perfectly everyday. It's a lot of pressure. Being able to take days off when needed would help. More money, better travel benefits.
It is a well-known fact that Skywest Pilots are the Industry standard in the world. Every major airline from Delta to Emirates favor SkyWest pilots. That being said, in this climate of pilot shortage,other airlines pay premium rates for their pilot group and pilots are thr,(Revenue Generators).
We work so many legs as a company and we just arent paid what we should be for all the hours we are putting in.
Most qualified for food stamps.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Awesome people that really care
The team members are highly skilled and talented but receive little recognition for anything they do right and heaps of criticism for anything done wrong.
Strong, team players, we look out fir one another.
Genuine regard. Professional. Smart. Hardworking.
The team is all focused on doing a great job and working together. We all come from different backgrounds but are able to get along well.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Work/life balance, flexibility in coming and going, encouraging comradery
As big as we are, we still treat everyone like family.
We do our best and make a very comfortable atmosphere for our passengers.
It's all about the people who work here and we have great relationships with one another.

Flexibility to balance my life with work along with the fascinating job I have working with the corporate attorney
The employees are always so positive
Management leads by example and is always willing to help when it is really busy.
