Leadership has no vision; they need to develop a culture of empowered leaders who understand what it means to lead people. Change management policies need to be implemented more broadly, and respect for fellow employees should echo throughout the organization.
If they treated the FAs to a actuallt livable wage then the people who have been here for years ans dedicated themselves to the company would wanna stay and same for the new hires barley scraping by on 400 dollar checks.
Compensation has not risen to keep up with cost of living in the area (housing is high for the current pay)
Everything has to run perfectly everyday. It's a lot of pressure. Being able to take days off when needed would help. More money, better travel benefits.
It is a well-known fact that Skywest Pilots are the Industry standard in the world. Every major airline from Delta to Emirates favor SkyWest pilots. That being said, in this climate of pilot shortage,other airlines pay premium rates for their pilot group and pilots are thr,(Revenue Generators).
We work so many legs as a company and we just arent paid what we should be for all the hours we are putting in.
