Low wages and mandatory overtime. They would probably be able to hold on to employees if they paid wages that were more in line with similar employers in the area.
No stock, poor benefits, no equity
I know based on my experience and the external market vs what is expected from me that i am severely underpaid, which is ehy i am actively looking.
i'm trained in multiple positions in multiple departments and have been continually moved between departments, when others aren't. I show up on time for work everyday, even not being able to take a bereavement when i was a temp. basically told be happy you have a job.
You have to threaten to leave in order to get a raise or higher compensation, otherwise it is average or slightly below and they do not promote easily.
