Mr. Mahoney joined Sonoco Products Company in 1987. He served as Staff Vice President, Corporate Planning at Sonoco from 1996 to 2000. Mr. Mahoney joined Sonoco Products in 1987 as manager of corporate financial planning and analysis. Mr. Mahoney worked for Arthur Andersen and Company as a tax manager/Senior Manager in their Corporate Reorgs and Appraisal and Valuation practice groups. He is active in several industry and community organizations. He is a CPA and is a member of the AICPA and Illinois CPA Society. He holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Marquette University and an M.S. in Taxation and MBA from DePaul University.
