What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Sonoco?
That upper management and supervisor's will lie and do whatever is needed to get their way. There is nothing production employees can do about it. Even the whistle blower means nothing to them. They know they win and they do not care about the little guy who comes to work and gets the jobs done.
It's complexity and reach of products.
What makes you the most proud about working at Sonoco?
Was a great job I could pay my own bills had insurance on the right path til slapped in the face fired and upper management lied about why

Office and management are liers and cheat people out of what is rightfully theirs
How hard is it to get promoted at Sonoco?
Depends on hoe fast people quit. Or who's already in line for that job
How long does it take to hear back after applying to Sonoco?
Right away except for the back ground taking months sometimes . peopple cant wait that long to start working

Once a year if you call it a raise. Last year was the first good one

18 you do not even need to graduate in Chillicothe. They lost everyone and who knows soon maybe not even a drug test.

You have to be a true collaborator and team player.
What's the office layout like at Sonoco?
Manufacturing operations differ in size. The corporate environment is very conservative in style. We have offices and cubicles. The Sonoco IPS Studio in Hartsville, SC at HQ was recently redone, and is very innovative.
How much diversity is there among employees at Sonoco?
