Vicki B. Arthur — Senior Vice President of Plastic Packaging & Protective Solutions at Sonoco

Ms. Vicki B. Arthur has been Senior Vice President of Plastic Packaging & Protective Solutions at Sonoco Products Company since January 3, 2017. In this role, Ms. Arthur has responsibility for Sonoco's plastics businesses, including flexible packaging; thermoformed, injection molded and extruded plastics; and Protective Solutions. She also provides executive oversight for Sonoco's Global Quality and Service Excellence programs. Ms. Arthur served as Vice President of Global Protective Solutions at Sonoco Products Co. since April 1, 2013 until 2017. Ms. Arthur served as Vice President of Protective Packaging for North America and Integration Leader at Sonoco Products Co. since February 2012 until 2013. Ms. Arthur served as Vice President of Global Corporate Customers of Sonoco Products Co. from 2008 to 2011, where she had P&L responsibility for its seven largest global packaged food (CPG) customers with annual sales of more than $1 billion. Ms. Arthur served as Vice President of Global Corporate Accounts of Sonoco Products Co., since February 2008. She served as General Manager of Global Corporate Accounts and Division Vice President at Sonoco Products Co. since January 1, 2008. Ms. Arthur had responsibility for dedicated account teams that coordinate all aspects of Sonoco's business relationship with several of its largest global consumer products company customers, including Procter & Gamble, Kraft Foods, Inc. and others. She served as Staff Vice President and Treasurer of Sonoco Products Co. since 2002. She served as Division Vice President and General Manager of Packaging Operations of Kraft Foods Inc. (also known as Mondelez International, Inc.) from June 2, 2005 to 2007 and was responsible for its global accounts. Ms. Arthur joined Sonoco Products in 1984 and served as its Corporate Controller since 2001 and Manager of Corporate Reporting from 1997 to 2001. Ms. Arthur joined Sonoco in 1985 and has held senior leadership positions in finance/accounting, sales and operations. During her tenure at Sonoco, she has held numerous management-level positions in corporate accounting, financial reporting and Treasury. She served as Staff Vice President and Controller for several Sonoco businesses. She originally worked in public accounting. She remains involved in community activities, serving as past president of the Hartsville YMCA and on the boards of Coker College, the Byerly Foundation and the Darlington County Economic Development Partnership. She is a member of the South Carolina Automotive Association and Automotive Council of the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance. She is a member of AICPA and the South Carolina Association of CPAs. She is a Certified Public Accountant. She maintains an active CPA license in South Carolina. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BS degree in Accounting and holds an MBA in Business from Duke University in 2000.
