I hate working as a nurse in general right now. I have felt more expendable and taken for granted each day that goes by. Southcoast does not care about retaining staff they just want to keep the big machjne running. It pays the bills but i have zero pride working for this place.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Actual leadership. I dont see progress here. Patient care is a marketing illusion. We cater to a mainly poor demographic with poor health outcomes and low health literacy. They make bank on repeat customers
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Competitive pay. Not having to always be short staffed or have to work extra to make up for managerial shortcomings. Appreciate your staff. Stop running on a threadbare budget and allow you highly trained staff to do what they were trained to do instead of running at a break neck pace
