They stay late with you and show appreciation for your work

It's all about them and not the employees. They just point and that's the person to blame. Never do they accept responsibility.
So many people in upper-management who are completely disconnected from the day-to-day of the people in the trenches. There's a growing chasm between the two that's not likely to be remedied.
Communication, training to new hires, conduct meeting listen to their new hires or colleagues.
Communication gap is major issue between management and employees
Need to get in touch with the business unit
I've been with the company for some time but the stock incentives have been excellent.

Variable compensation program and 401k match of 6%
Stock options. The pay is fair abut not competitive
Awesome great flexible wow yahoo
They keep using all of the pay pot to bring people up to minimum wage. Meaning the one time higher/middle earners are in a race to the bottom as we've received minimal pay rises. People are leaving management roles here to go to admin roles at our competitors and receiving more money
SS&C pays 15-20% less than the market average.
At least a rpi/inflation related pay increase. No pay rise in 10 years.
Managment acknowledges that the company underpays everyone, but nothing is done about it.

They can do alot of work in short order
Great work ethic and sense of looking out for each other. I honestly would have been long gone if it hadn't of been for the people I work with
Stay in contact and understand as individuals that add to the whole.
some need to learn how to take responsibility for the work
We work in too many silos people are quick to say that isn't my job vs. how can I help.
The people here are always willing to listen and share ideas.
My team members are awesome
The people actually doing the work are generally great to work with.
Inclusiveness, openness and more importantly they recognize and value hard work

To have any culture at all. Individualism doesn't exist. If they could hire robots, they would. (Litetally in a meeting about setting up more automation and mass loss of jobs.
They need systems that actually work and a leadership team that start taking responsibility. Everything gets blamed on the little people. Whilst the big guns keep making money but the work isn't getting done
Need a culture of teamwork and equality.
It was many years ago, but it was straight forward process.
It was on teams not in person
Not really applicable as I've tuped so previous employer interviewed me and they were ace
They asked pertinent questions about position and expectations
It felt very relaxed and like the management/hiring team was taking time to get to know more about me and my transferable skills rather than just what my education or prior experience was in a narrow lens of what the role I was applying of might normally expect.

Systems, leadership, lack of respect from management basically told to put up or shut up. Long term employees.are not rewarded effectively. New hires are coming in on more than people who have been doing the job for years and there's no way for managers to address it so existing staff are leaving.
Antiquated product offerings, lack of full teams to complete projects due to mishandling of business causing multiple layoffs, and a horrible direction for the future with Blue Prism. That was the biggest knife in the back to many there.
Underappreciated they only care about the stock price for the executives no long-term vision.
Ever since SS&C bought Advent, the morale has flagged. The emphasis has shifted purely to quarterly performance. It's just not as fun anymore.
Others are not as responsive or our understaffing doesn’t allow them to be as responsive as we should be to client requests
