My direct manager was the only competent human being that I ever interacted with at Sunday River- literally, everyone else did not seem cut out or qualified for their positions, but we were supposed to believe they were and could get the job done even when they repeatedly do not. It is embarrassing.

It's understandable to make a little less living in a remote area and for a ski resort. Making 2-3x less is just unacceptable, especially when benefits are expensive and lackluster.
They demand long hours, any time of the day, you never feel you went home with enough or even all of what you earned.
Hard work is almost never appreciated. A single word of thanks might be all you get, maybe. The more you do, the more they expect, and you'll still get paid the same. Shifts are all 8-15 hours long, on your feet, no break, and they expect you to smile and be polite throughout. All servers feel this
the boss treated me like dirt
Passionate, talented and hard working
My co-workers were some of the only good things about working at Sunday River. The customers can be hit or miss in the summer, but in the winter they are great. Typically the coworker's summer or winter is a good group of people trying to make it in this world.
they under pay people alot
We don't have team meetings. And if we did, they would be helpful. Every shift is thrown together on the spot, and its falling apart at the seams. Customers notice and complain, it's bad. real bad.
this is noy a good place
Benefits, compensation, work-life-balance with respected boundaries built into the culture
Everyone is over worked and under paid. Upper management seems to think everything is fine. But those in the working class know otherwise.
Servers and bartenders need to be appreciated more. Breaks need to happen. Raises should occur. People shouldn't be afraid going to work because the culture there is so hostile.
Have systems in place so the process is consistent. Seemed like it was a free for all
Working on my team and my relationships with them
the food was very good
There is no improving a dump. Sometimes it needs to be trashed and begun fresh. This is one of those cases.
Money is not being spent on the right things and we are in desperate need of so many things, and none of it is happening.
