He served as Senior Vice President of Raw Material Sourcing and Supply at SunOpta Inc. from January 2015 to February 2, 2016. Mr. Ruelle served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Secretary at SunOpta Inc. from January 2013 to January 2015. Mr. Ruelle was responsible for Human Resources and Organizational Development, Information Technology, Shared Administrative Services, Insurance and Operational Legal Management. He served as a Vice President of SunOpta Inc. since October 12, 2011. He has over 15 years of progressive food industry senior leadership experience. He joined SunOpta in November 2007 and served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance & Administration in the SunOpta Grains and Foods Group, where was instrumental in guiding refinements to SunOpta business model, streamlining and aligning SunOpta business processes and creating operating leverage. He served as Vice President of Finance & Administration, Treasurer and a Corporate Secretary at Restaurant Technologies, Inc. Mr. Ruelle served as the Chief Financial Officer at Restaurant Technologies, Inc. until October 2007. He co-founded Restaurant Technologies, Inc. in 1997 and led a private equity backed national rollout of over 30 greenfield distribution and service facilities. He served as Manager of Operations Planning and Analysis with LaserMaster Technologies. He served as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with Larson Allen LLP. since 1997. From 1994 to 1997, he served at LaserMaster Technologies, Inc., a designer, manufacturer and marketer of high-end graphic arts and pre-press printer equipment and related consumables. From 1991 to 1993, he served as a Senior Accountant for Larson, Allen, Weishar & Co., LLP (LAWCO). He has a BS in Accounting and Finance and B.A. in Accounting and Management from St. Johns University. Mr. Ruelle is an Inactive Certified Public Accountant.
