SuperVia Company Overview
Operamos o serviço de trens urbanos do Rio de Janeiro desde 1998. Porém, em 2010, a Odebrecht TransPort, uma empresa da Organização Odebrecht com foco em mobilidade urbana, concessões rodoviárias, sistemas integrados de logística e aeroportos assumiu o controle acionário da SuperVia. Esta mudança prevê novos desafios e acontece em um momento de grande importância para a cidade do Rio de Janeiro, que se prepara para receber dois eventos de porte internacional: a Copa do Mundo de 2014 e as Olimpíadas de 2016.Atuamos em uma malha viária de 270 km em oito ramais com 102 estações. O percurso atravessa o Rio de Janeiro e mais onze municípios da Região Metropolitana (Duque de Caxias, Nova Iguaçu, Nilópolis, Mesquita, Queimados, São João de Meriti, Belford Roxo, Japeri, Magé, Paracambi e Guapimirim). Os trens da SuperVia transportam, em média, 570 mil passageiros por dia útil. Desde 8 de julho de 2011, também operamos o Teleférico do Alemão, o primeiro transporte de massa por cabos do Brasil. O teleférico está integrado ao sistema de transporte ferroviário e tem seis estações. Em outubro de 2013, o modal alcançou a marca de mais de 7 milhões de passageiros transportados.
