The leadership team cares about every aspect of the company and every person in the company instead of only focusing on their own direct reports.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership team is scattered and overwhelmed, no clear goals or holistic approach for cross department functionality, leadership egos and micromanagement mixed with lack of knowledge in the space and toxic energy makes it very difficult to stay inspired and focused on company goals and success.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Cash, equity and all the benefits are higher than expected for a startup.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It would be great to be compensated or recognized for the hard work and accomplishments but that’ll never happen, expectations are sky high and management doesn’t get it.

We are all working together towards the same goal so I feel like all our meetings are fun problem solving conversations.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Everyone is stressed, egos are larger than life, overall knowledge and skill levels are misaligned and leadership does nothing to support team building/development so the vibe is stressful and everyone is bitter
There is the standard nodded and understanding, but no summary of action items to that take place after the meetings end.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Love the people I work with and enjoy solving problems with people from different departments.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The culture is so bad. Everyone gossips, leadership is awful, morale is worst I’ve seen in my career but managers don’t care or do anything to try to help build spirits within their own teams much less the company as a whole.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Getting to meet with the executive team so I could hear all about company vision.
I never felt like I was being indicted. (Some interviews feel that way.)
I met with upper management and they were able to show me the vision for the company
The interviewers made me feel comfortable enough to open up and be honest about my life, experience and goals.

Hearing when we way over deliver for a client which usually means our members loved an event or offer we had.

I love that my co-workers genuinely love and care about the company. We can have fun during down time but there is a clear total respect for the company.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
My previous comments should speak to this, but the company will never succeed as long as the current CEO is leading the charge with the existing management team. They NEED to figure it out.
