Swig is one tall drink of soda. The booming beverage brand launched in 2010 in St. George, Utah, after owner and founder Nicole Tanner brainstormed the idea for a drive-by drink shop. Ive loved swig so much the whole time ive been a part of the company ! It's very challenging at times, but building your team and building relationships with them is the best part ! i LOVE my store and my team ! its so nice to work at a company that values fun while working !
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Although the store is consistently busy, we are always having fun ! being involved in conversation and building relationships consistently ! i love how friendly wveryone is even on their worst days !
What makes you most happy at work?
Being with the team and things running smoothly ! Like I said, my team is INCREDIBLE ! I love coming into a clean store thats running smoothly and it all comes from the team ! theyre so great ! they make me happy and its cool to see them grow and be proud of themselves !
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is a lot of work to be donez Things that are required outside of clocked in hours. Swig sometimes consumes my life and doesnt allow time to do much else than be a human being and work. The pay doesnt seem worth it in the long run. If i didnt LOVE it, i would have left beforehand.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are SO fun !!! Theyre so inclusive and make sure everyone is a part of the conversation ! Never a dull moment with them ! Such hard workers and so willing to do and learn anything ! We have been out through the wringer and they comtinued to show up and do their part ! love them so much !
What do you like best about the leadership team?
i like how close and personal the GM's get to be with their teams ! its such a different work environment than any other ! i wish the DM's were more supportive and made it feel more as though the GM is doing a good job. there is a lack of positive praise to GM's. otherwise, swig is the place to be !
