Swiss Re Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

share compensation each year end

The bonus is above average, unless you work in Bratislava.

401k match, flexibility and vacation and family leave much better than US companies provide

Base pay is high enough

401k match and health benefits for low employee contribution

I think Bonus is really good

I love the 4% matching on the 401K. PTO is reasonable.

health benefits

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

increase salary, more exciting projects

pay to better commensurate with performance

Base and bonus should be higher, health insurance is not great as there is a high deductible

Swiss Re's history has made it bureaucraitc overtime, with a lot of weightage on corporate titles and hierarchy. A lot of senior people hide behind titles and thrive merely on networking and eloquence, while not really actively engaging in real work. Not a level playing field for real talent.

Below market average if you work in the New York area

The management needs to look into Pay increase considering inflation and taxes mainly in US. Since 2008 there has been no raise and they need to consider changing this or more employees will leave as the market is really looking good for Jobs

Salary benchmarks are still lagging other companies.
