Ron Bernstein — Senior Vice President of Ad Sales & Operations at Synacor

Mr. Ron Bernstein has been Senior Vice President of Ad Sales & Operations at Synacor, Inc. since February 10, 2017. Mr. Bernstein served as Senior Vice President of Online Advertising at Synacor, Inc. until October 3, 2015. Mr. Bernstein was charged with growing Synacor's next-gen programmatic advertising strategy as part of Synacor's overarching national ad sales, which also encompasses search, display and online video advertising. He joined Synacor from AOL where, as Vice President of Product AD Sales, he was responsible for AOL's Homepage and Video business. He led ad sales across various AOL owned and operated sites including Mapquest, Netscape, AIM, ICQ, Moviefone and CompuServe. He has also held senior positions at U.S. News & World Report, Rodale, Inc., GeoCities.com and Hachette New Media. His media career began in the magazine business at Popular Science, Times Mirror Magazines and Psychology Today. He is active with the IAB and is a frequent speaker at events such as iMedia Agency Summit and Digital Hollywood. He served as Vice President of Online Advertising Sales at Synacor, Inc. since Augsut 2010. Mr. Bernstein served as the Vice President of product ad sales for AOL. He is a graduate from the University of Rhode Island and earned his MBA from the Bernard Baruch College.
