Kevin Barber — Senior VP & GM of Mobile Division at Synaptics

Mr. Kevin D. Barber has been a Senior Vice President of Synaptics Incorporated since January 2011 and serves as its General Manager of Mobile Division since July 2017. Mr. Barber served as General Manager of Smart Display Division at Synaptics Inc. since January 2011. Mr. Barber served as a General Manager and Senior Vice President of Handheld Division at Synaptics Inc. Mr. Barber has 15 years of executive experience with organizations such as Conexant Systems, Skyworks Solutions, PRTM and ACCO, Mr. Barber has extensive domain expertise in the mobile communication industry. He served as Chief Executive Officer of ACCO Semiconductor since 2008. From 2007 to 2008, he served as a Principal consultant at PRTM focused on the electronics industry. Mr. Barber was Senior Vice President, General Manager of the Mobile Solutions business at Skyworks Solutions from September 2003 to 2006 where he was responsible for delivering innovative RF products to the mobile industry. He served as a General Manager and Senior Vice President, Mobile Platforms of Skyworks Solutions Inc., (Formerly Alpha Industries) since November 2005. Mr. Barber served as Senior Vice President for Operations of Skyworks Solutions Inc., from June 2002 to September 2003, Senior Vice President, Operations of Conexant Systems Inc. (broadband communication semiconductors) from February 2001 to June 2002, Vice President, Internal Manufacturing from August 2000 to February 2001, Vice President, Device Manufacturing from March 1999 to August 2000, Vice President of Strategic Sourcing from November 1998 to March 1999 and Director, Material Sourcing of Rockwell Semiconductor Systems (now Conexant) from May 1997 to November 1998. He held various engineering and operational roles at Rockwell Semiconductor Systems since April 1984. Mr. Barber holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University and Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
