Be a leader not a boss. He never wrong and he got the last word.

Years of service doesn't count here. You're a number and you are reminded every day.
They view a drivers ad a replaceable item and not as a human being. The compensation needs to be written down and provide to the employees, only managers since to know the rules.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Hired leaders no bosses. And people who knows the life behind the wheel of a truck.
Stop reminding the employees who is the manager and don't talk down on the drivers We are not objects for manager to engage on power games.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Have an open mind to all applicants. Don't have someone picked for the job before starting interviewing people. It is discouraging knowing people are interviewing for jobs that are already decided on
Tell the truth,enough sugar coding. Management definitely is out of touch, he will force you to work and will turn his back on you
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Stop hiring family members on management positions and Stop the favoritism. Only the group of good buddies are able to move up at targa.
Poor cummication from dispatch to customers. Be at front and sincere, not only with the customers but also with your employees
