
People are hard working and nice. I generally like my coworkers and like working with them.
They are generally very reachable. They don't put themselves in some ivory tower and make it hard to talk to them.
Our team is pretty collaborative, despite being so far apart and not having seen anyone for a year. Everyone is supportive and willing to help out.
It's been a while since I went through it, but it was fairly laid back. People seemed to want to get to know me and what I could bring to the table, but weren't trying to ask gotcha questions.
Dealing directly with customers. I really enjoy those interactions. I also am happy when I have a project to work on and can dive in and do what I feel is best for the customer without too much leadership overreach.
I feel like the story I get in performance reviews is different than the story in my paycheck. I got a pretty good performance review 18 months in, and only got 90% of my bonus, despite being told close to exceeding expectations on most things. Then my raise was tiny, didn't match what I was told
