People and environment are great. Excited for what ebay will bring to the table

Opinionated and arrogant HR staff

This place really gives people an opportunity to for some, live out a life long dream of selling trading cards and collectibles. It really seems like you can go as big as you allow yourself to as long as you put in the effort which is usually just making sure things are packaged well and being nice

Getting respect by some peers has been a fight, getting proper raise increases has been a hassle, workload is extensive but the people are pleasant and depending on what team you're on your management is good.

Great across the company, but improvements need to be made on my team.

even if it takes awhile for someone to get back to you, your issue will usually always get resolved. just a lot of people with a lot of problems and its easy to get lost in the mix

Minorities within the tech and product team need more support. There is a lack of diversity within leadership and the teams who develop software. Lastly, they need to provide more learning paths and mentoring to grow tech and product employees’ skills.

The benefits at TCGplayer continue to grow. The HR team works hard to provide competitive perks, like unlimited PTO. And they are not stopping just because they already offer good options. This is one of the best things about TCGplayer!

Pay is low for some titles/people when compared to what other companies could pay you for the same role and job duties at other tech companies based on our areas cost of living.

They work well together and all get along. Some things could definitely be improved upon but all in all the atmosphere on the team is good and fun.

There are many wonderful people within TCGplayer. Most people are kind and passionate about what they do. My immediate coworkers are very preoccupied with how they alone can be the best. This negatively impacts their contribution to the company, and makes a difficult working environment.

The culture actually can come off very cult like. However the positive is some of the people you spend all day with are amazing to be around and make your day better.

In some divisions of product and tech, there is an unhealthy amount of ego driven work. Rather than relying on teammates and their expertise, there is a culture of “my way is best always.” This makes collaboration extremely difficult.

It was friendly and comfortable.

When projects are actually well thought out and organized instead of just being a mad dash.

Throughout most of the company, there is a very kind and open culture. I love the acceptance and positivity the company as a whole generally has.
