Mr. Thomas E. Powell, also known as Tom, BS, MBA has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Teleflex Incorporated since March 9, 2012 and since February 2013 and serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Powell served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of TomoTherapy Incorporated since June 22, 2009 and its Principal Accounting Officer. He served as Senior Vice President at Teleflex Incorporated since March 9, 2012 until February 2013. He served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Teleflex Incorporated since joining in 2011 until March 9, 2012. Mr. Powell served as the Chief Financial Officer of Textura Corporation. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Midway Games Inc. from September 2001 to January 2008 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer since November 2007. Mr. Powell served as an Executive Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Midway Games Inc. from April 9, 2001 to January 2008. He joined Midway on April 9, 2001. He served at Dade Behring, Inc., a manufacturer of medical equipment from 1997 to February 2001 and served as its Vice President of Corporate Business Development and Strategic Planning. Previously he served as Vice President of Finance of the Biology Products Group. He worked in Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo, Inc. from 1991 to 1997 and served as its Director of Finance. Mr. Powell held a number of finance and strategy positions with Bain & Company Consultants and Tenneco Inc. He began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co. He has Certified Public Accounting (CPA) License. He earned a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University and also has Master's in business administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago.
