What is the company mobility like at TerraPower?
Terrible mobility. You are set into a role and you perform that role. Promotions are few and far between as you have no way to really demonstrate increased responsibility, take on new roles or responsibilities. You just hope you’re on the good side of your manager. Can be a senior engineer after a year of graduating, could have 10 years of experience and be a staff engineer. Little transparency in the position structure with the engineering staff.

What's the internship program like at TerraPower?
Excellent intern program. Good supervisors, interesting and meaningful projects that directly support project mission. Usually a fairly large group of interns with sanctioned outings outside of work such as go carts, hiking, etc. as well as plenty of non-sanctioned fun with the group.
What is the best perk or benefit that TerraPower offers?
Two annual bonuses, one based on company performance and the other individual performance. After full vesting period, typically pays out 25% of annual salary total with the two bonuses.
How are the dental insurance options at TerraPower?
Top of the line dental PPO from Delta Dental of Washington is only choice. $2000 maximum annual benefit, 100% preventative coverage, 80% basic, 50% major.
