Executive Bio

Mr. Jean-Francois Fau serves as the President of EMEA at Texas Instruments Inc. Mr. Francois served as Texas Instruments Inc.'s President of TI Europe since January 19, 2004 and was responsible for implementing TI strategy and overseeing its operations throughout Europe. Mr. Francois was also responsibility for sales, marketing and applications in Europe, the Middle East and Africa as he assumes the additional duties of his new job. Prior to this, he had overall management responsibility for the European wireless communications business unit. Mr. Francois has more than twenty years experience with TI's Semiconductor Group, during which time he has held senior marketing positions responsible for the automotive, consumer and military sectors. He also worked closely with leading telecommunications manufacturers to define, create and implement mobile communications products. He holds a master's of science degree in electrical engineering from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquees de Toulouse, France.
