Russ Bartlett — Chief Executive Officer of Textron Airborne Solutions and President of Textron Airborne Solutions at Textron

Mr. Russ Bartlett has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Textron Airborne Solutions at Textron Inc. Mr. Bartlett leads Textron Advanced Aircraft Training Inc. He served as the President of Hawker Beechcraft Defense Company for Hawker Beechcraft Corporation. Mr. Bartlett served as President of Beechcraft Defense Company of Beechcraft Corporation. He was responsible for all aspects of Beechcraft Defense Company including the T-6 Texan military trainer aircraft, the AT-6 Light Attack aircraft and a variety of Special Missions platforms. He served as Director of U S and International Business Development at Hawker Beechcraft Corporation since 2010. He served as Hawker's government business development regional executive for Europe and India. Before joining Beechcraft, he held a distinguished military career, retiring from the U.S. Navy as a Captain in May 2008 as the Director of Security Assistance at the Navy International Programs Office. He was responsible for all Dept of the Navy Foreign Military Sales programs, to include development and execution of a complex. Previously, he served as Team Lead for the Joint Integrated Air Capabilities and Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction groups for the Navy's Quadrennial Defense Review cell. From 2002 to 2004, he served as Commanding Officer and Flight Leader of the Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the 'Blue Angels'. As 'Blue AngelOne' for the 2003 and 2004 show seasons, he led team through over 900 high speed, low altitude, highly-coordinated flight demonstrations. Mr. Bartlett holds a BS degree in aerospace engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1983 and a master's in national security and strategic studies from the U.S. Naval War College (graduated with Distinction as the President's Honor Graduate).
