Scott A. Ernest — Chief Executive Officer of Textron Aviation and President of Textron Aviation at Textron

Mr. Scott A. Ernest serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Textron Aviation at Textron Inc. Mr. Ernest has been Chief Executive Officer and President of Cessna Aircraft Company since May 31, 2011. Mr. Ernest joined Textron in May 2011. Mr. Ernest is a 29-year veteran of General Electric Company. He served as the Vice President and General Manager of Global Supply Chain at GE Aviation since October 2003. He served as the Vice President and General Manager of Global Services Operations for GE Aviation's $6 billion services business since 2001. Mr. Ernest provided leadership in several general manager roles, including management of its sourcing organization, where he was responsible for its North American operations and oversight of its large aviation services businesses located in Singapore and Kansas. His career at GE Aviation also includes several General Manager roles ranging from overseeing its sourcing organization to responsibility for its North American operations and large aviation services businesses located in Singapore and Strother, Kansas. Mr. Ernest served as Manager for the Singapore service facility since 1993. He served as Manager of the Strother, Kansas, facility since 1995. He joined GE - Avaition in 1984. He was a Member of GE's Manufacturing Leadership Program in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Mr. Ernest has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron and a Master's Degree in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
