Mr. Jeffrey C. Blair, also known as Jeff, has been President of the Plant Nutrient Group at The Andersons, Inc. since December 04, 2017. Mr. Blair has 20 years of business and leadership experience with the U.S. Army, Orica Mining Services and Intrepid. Mr. Blair served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Intrepid Potash, Inc. since May 2016 until November 28, 2017, where he led his team through a period of strategic transition, helping Intrepid revamp its go-to-market strategy; rapidly improve its potash margins and greatly expand its Trio and by-product sales. Mr. Blair served as Director of Potash Sales at Intrepid Potash, Inc. from August 2013 to May 2016. In that role, he managed all potash sales as well as the customer service team and some logistics. Before joining Intrepid, Mr. Blair held various positions with Orica USA Inc., the world's largest manufacturer and distributor of commercial explosives, including the Director of Sales for the US direct business and Legal Counsel for North America. Before Orica, Mr. Blair was an attorney with the Denver-based international law firm of Holme Roberts & Owen, LLP. Mr. Blair also served as an airborne infantry and military intelligence officer with the US Army. His tours included serving with the US Army's quick reaction force for Europe & Africa, Operation Joint Forge in Bosnia and Operation Enduring Freedom with the US Special Forces in Afghanistan. Mr. Blair received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from Princeton University and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado.
