Executive Bio
Mr. Michael S. Irmen, also known as Mike, has been President of Ethanol Group at The Andersons, Inc., since July 1, 2016. Mr. Irmen served as the Director of Ethanol Marketing & Risk Management Services at The Andersons Clymers Ethanol LLC. He has 40 years of experience in grain merchandising, commodities risk management and ethanol administration. He served as a Vice President in the Ethanol Group since 2012 and was also named as General Manager in 2015. He serves as a Special Advisor to the Market Risk Committee at GreenField Specialty Alcohols, Inc. He is The Andersons' representative to the Board of Directors for the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) and has served on the Technical Committee. A member of the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA), Mr. Irmen has served on the Country Elevator Committee and chaired the Arbitration Committee.
