What is the best part about your compensation package?The fact that we don't have to pay into basic insurance plans.
What do you like best about the leadership team?We are still a small company so the leadership team is accessible and it's easy to get face time with them (even if it's virtual this year).
What makes you most happy at work?Feeling heard and being involved. Knowing my team will help and feeling like I can go to someone. Having a boss that understands my role. Feeling like people have more trust my expertise even though my role is subjective. Feel like I can take on a big task without people creating roadblocks.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?Our technology has not caught up with the business. We struggle to do basic things because we don't have the tech to support it, yet we are still expected to execute as if we do.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?The company is lacking clear strategic direction from a high level. The split into BUs has caused the company to become too siloed and not focused on the customer journey holistically and what's best for the customer. Because of the split employees are working harder and not being recognized.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?Instead of creating roadblocks and saying no when interested in helping, nurture and encourage it. Don't make me feel judged if I make a mistake. Don't treat me like i'm beneath anyone. Listen to me. If I'm am no expert in a task I've been given, be supportive and don't set me up to fail.
